Katrina flooded us with 3 feet of water, and NHS's headquarters were used as a boat launch. My new studio is on the right side of this street. For more details please go to my "Katrina Tale" located on this site.

Freret Street is a very busy corridor that runs all the way from the river to downtown. It parallels Magazine Street and Saint Charles Avenue, and bisects Tulane and Loyola University.

I owe everything I am today to my beautiful wife Kellie. She is our Business Manager, and the one who runs the show. She also has a full time gig as Loyola Universities Costume Director, is a magazine writer, and manages author/editor Beverly Church...

Another corrupted "Andy's Kid", is Andy Pollack. I can't say enough good things about him and his family. He is "family", and I'm very proud. He began with me as a Loyola intern 6 (?) years ago, and just purchased his own studio in New Orleans.

Wish I could say good things about Anna and James Lacalzo visit, but damn did they find the "cup" on Freret Street to be half empty. Go their site, and type in Freret St. for their slanted view; hopefully they will show some positives next time...

Sean and Ed Melendeze did documentary film a few years back called "Heat; a day in the life of Andrew Brott". Both their homes were flooded; Sean and his amazing artist wife Karoline Schleh are rebuilding, but Ed and Cassy have moved away. They are missed

Your CERF donations at work. You would not be reading this now if it were not for CERF, The Joni Mitchell Foundation, The Pollack Krasner Foundation, The Artists in Need Fellowship, Desire NOLA, and many other relief organizations.

This picture shows the "mood" of our arts meetings. This one was hosted by Jan Katz (Ogden Museum) and CERF Director Saint (Cornelia) Carey. Saint (Don) Marshall always finds the time to attend; He is a leader in the rebuilding and saving our Art Scene

Cornelia Carey visits the entire Gulf Area affected by Katrina and Rita often, and knows more about our recovery than we do. Being this is a "Glass" site let me remind y'all that CERF is "our" organization and needs your support!!!
