The next two photos show the "Bridges" failure. Nothing like the drawings (go to the "Bundled Brige" failures page), there was not enough room for the glass to slump. Each side of the brige hit the ground, no grace at all...

all of my "ropes" are hardened with solder, and copper plated with CuSo4. They will age like bronze and become very yummy with time...

This copper rope has been filled, or hardened with moltin tin and lead solder, and copper plated with CuSo4 (Copper Sulfate). The top of the steel arm has a threaded and removable ball to finish the piece.

The next photos show the base I made for the free standing piece not yet pictured. These two "pins" are actualy steel bolts, that moved up and down as to fit the piece. Once fitted , they were welded into place, and coved in copper foil/solder.

I used 12 gauge solid core copper wire, fitted to the glass, and soldered to the base.

Thanks
Thanks,
many say I 'm a fool for posting this stuff; claiming this work will be copied by those without integrity... My response; Let me make the work, and you guys go sue the copy cats. I have hundreds, if not thousands of other ideas and concepts, and may never have the time to do them all. "Technique is cheap"; all others pay cash.
Warm regards,
Andy
