I took this lamp shade to AGI with the idea of creating something fabulous for my moms 50th birthday. The end result was greater than I could have imagined. Tom and Elaine have created an exceptional opportunity for lampworkers to come together with the common goal of teaching and learning. In addition to the glass info, Big Don and Randy shared their blacksmithing skills with any one who was interested. Special thanks to everyone for making this project come together. Phil

The cobalt and gold criss cross pattern cut the light in a very dramatic way.

Unfortunately, I was unable to capture the way the light spread across the ceiling.
