Sunset at the Beach

Sunset at the Beach

This is an example of a new series of marbles that I've been working on. I'm not sure if the photo's can really capture what they look like, although I'm sure you can get an idea. In person there is a lot more depth and 3D.

This particular marble is a beach scene at sunset. The water gets shallow as it washes up on the shores. There is a large rock formation out in the shallows and a cliff/ rock feature that borders the beach which has waves crashing over it. Way out at sea you can just catch the last of a beautiful red sunset before nightfall and the stars completely take over.

Worship of Kryptonite

Worship of Kryptonite

This 2 1/4 inch marble is full of layer after layer of scenery and surprises. It includes one large chunk of color changing kryptonite surrounded by mushrooms (or worm creatures), a large chunk of silicon asteroid, a honeycomb chedder cheese moon, two pine tree murrini's, galaxy's, stars, and other space debree, and deep in the back awaits a surprise scene. There is always something new to discover here. The backing is a nice dot pattern pinwheel.

Below you can see the colors that the kryptonite can change into. Green, White, Blue and Gold (not pictured)

4th of July through my eyes!

4th of July through my eyes!

This is 2 13/16" wide by 2 1/2" high. It has a lot going on, just like a real fireworks show!

Remember in Men in Black, where the dog is carrying around the little Universe around his neck? [Okay, I've just been informed it was a cat named Orion who wore the Universe around Orion's belt...thanks] That's what I'm striving to do. Put a little world or universe or a story into a little piece of glass.

Murder Suspect Howling Wolf

Murder Suspect Howling Wolf

Wolf tracks lead away from a bloody body on one side of this marble, while on the other side you can see the culprit howling at the moon under a star filled sky.

Sorry about the photo quality on this one. I didn't have my usual set up.

Down The Rabbit Hole We Go!!!!!!!

Down The Rabbit Hole We Go!!!!!!!

This marble is 2 7/32" and is filled to the brim with craziness for your viewing pleasure. The babbling brook flows from deep in the rear and ends up flowing over an opal boulder. The banks of the stream are the perfect environment for the colorful boro mushrooms that have began to sprout up. In the distance you can see the trees lining the valley. And finally take a look up in the sky and you will see the hole that you fell through, Alice.

This marble has a lot in it that the camera doesn't really pick up. There is a comet, black hole vortex, moon, planet, stars, etc.
