Influenced by Kandinsky's and Miro's work early in his education, the artist reflects on the relationship of color and form as reduced to basic geometric forms. Through the use of simple arcs interacting with geometric shapes, the artist creates a dynamic tension between the action suggested by the arcs and the stability represented in the geometric forms. This dynamic tension is further enhanced with the use of luminous color, establishing a precarious balance of the elements in the sculptures. aluminum, glass lenses and neon 48" x 32" x 5"
