These are some photos of my garden outside my studio. This is where all of my unfinished, unworthy or experimental pieces go to rest. Recently I've been making pieces specifically for my garden. I've done all the masonry and planting myself. It's a good break from glass. In the middle of my garden is a small pond I put in. This piece was made from the scraps and experimental pieces left over from the chandeliers I have made and is almost four feet tall.

Figured I might as well have some fun with scraps from my chandeliers.

I have been slowly building my studio. I would have included more pictures of it but right now it looks like s$#*. I still have a lot to do.

Saw this frog on the cattails in my pond outside my studio and had to take a picture.

I have been working with glass since 1996. I first started during my senior year at UC Santa Cruz as a Biology Major. About halfway through my senior year I got a basic lampworking setup and by the time I graduated I was making enough money to survive. Since then I have been working hard to build my studio, my knowledge, and to continually advance as a glassblower. My first few years I had very little influence from other glass artists and recently I have realized that there are a lot of talented and inspirational artists out there and I am glad I finally feel like I am becoming part of the glass community.
