In Japan tonbodama decollated with glass lace is very popular. Shigeyuki Kimura has very good skill to make lace beads. He also makes beautiful tonbodama with dots. He is one of the most skillful amateur bead makers in Japan. (Tonbodama is Japanese style glass beads.)

Hi! nice to meet you! i like your beads very much.I was in Japan last month for the festival in Nagara and I gained a real apreciation for the art of tonbodama in Japan..I got toplay with some satake and kinari glass.Its very fun and beautiful! keep up the good work and I hope to see you in Kobe next year!
