Sculptural beads from koala to rhinestone cowboys.

An experiment, I didn't want "another mermaid" and left the face blank, unlike my usual style.

I made her back in 2005, a "pre-geisha" bead. She stands under 1 and 1/2 inches

This is a variation of my Sumo bead. I was playing around with some CZ's and decided to make a cowboy in chaps instead of my usual sumo wrestler

I felt like making a female sumo to match the guy in the speedo and one of my other guys turned out very tiny. Ta-da...instant family.

Next to a dime for size comparison. I've found the smaller the bead, the more difficult it is to do. It's a challenge, but I love seeing just how tiny and detailed I can go.

I've been drawing since I could hold a crayon, thanks to my mother who is also an artist. It wasn't until I began working with hot glass May 2005 that something really sparked inside of me. As a self-taught glass artist, I hope my beads are just the beginning of a long and adventurous career into this astounding medium.
