I have been exploring my own emotions and expressing these through the use of color. I visualize vessels as containers that will hold things. The vessel is the keeper of energy, emotions or stories. The vessel also represents a means of travel, on a personal level it represents travel from inter-self to self expression. By using abstracts I am striving to create mood and energy.

When I create a vessel, my goal is to create a feeling with each piece. It is as if piece has it's own energy.
With my paintings, I am driven by emotions as I push the paint around on the glass. With the Earthenware series, I am creating with powders and frit, a textural design, that is organic in nature....
