My name is Adam, I live and work in Houston, Tx. I have been lampworking since August of 2004 and am loving every minute of it. I am primarily self-taught, though I have been to a class.

It definately has it's ups and downs, but the ups far outweigh the downs!

Take a look around my gallery and leave some comments, suggestions and feedback.

Enjoy!

    kiln
Awilson529: It's a Neycraft. It's sold already, and going in its place is a Paragon F-240. Just sitting in the corner waiting to get 240V hooked up.

    Why do you ask?

    garages are for cars
Matthew Eskuche: yeah, i have a neycraft for lost-wax burn out. it posesses the tremendous advantage of having its elements completely encased in the frax of the wall. you can put a paper thin foot right against the wall since the insulated elements keep the temperature no higher near the walls than in the center. plus it doesn't need to cycle back and forth as much as an exposed element kiln will.

it's a great little kiln for anneals.

    yeah,
Awilson529: But it's a little too small for my goblets. The internal deminsions are only lik 7x7x9, I think, plus it's analog. Oh well. I bought it from a guy that made my wifes engagement and wedding ring, so it's for jewelry. No garage-type door, or punty flaps.

Can't wait to get the paragon hooked up.
