Glass Aquascape

Glass Aquascape

These pieces I always enjoy, because of the complexity of putting so many small parts together. Aquascapes tend to be what I lean towards most when making solid sculptures. This piece was approx. 12" wide and 4" or so deep. Having so many angles really made it difficult to photograph and to really get the true dimension of this piece. Sony cybershot 2.8 megapixel camera and no special lighting.

NS Coral Aquascape

This piece was made 8/04 and was used for the Northstar Boro-Newsletter. They took the photos, and they came out beautiful. The piece was solid and the button polyps milli's. I have a similar piece I am working on now, but I am waiting for my new GTT handtorch, I learned pretty quickly that your National will melt when inside the kiln.
