What a treat this was for me. The hand is life size, the orb is 90mm diameter. We made this collab during the open house at Revere's this week. I was given the honor of TA for his life forms class, Dustin brought in 2 different models daily, giving the opportunity to study many body types. Mickelsen's approach to figurative sculpting helped everyone tremendously. If you ever have the chance to take this course, I highly recommend it, not only will he blow your mind he will put you well on your way to sculpting beautiful figures. Awesome class RAM and BIG UPS to BIG D for bringing Mickelsen back to the Bay Area!!!

From the Great Pyramid of Gaza, we then traveled through the deserts of central and southern Africa, catching a plane back to the West Coast of Ca., we found ourselves checking out the local lighthouses.
I actually went out for field research on the lighthouse marbles. The trees depicted are Monterey Cypress, photos taken from the local groves next to the SC Lighthouse, the lighthouses are also a product from photographs I have taken.
Here's a few more, I would've uploaded pictures of all of them and their views, but dial-up sucks.

Travis Weber, Ben Burton, Kaj Beck collaboration. We had a lot of fun with this one. Travis made one of his "tribsl skin" marbles, Ben made the sea horse and coral marble, the cane and vessel assembly was my duty. 17 inches tall
