In January of 2006, I was fortunate enough to be accepted to the Corning Studio of Glass to take a class with Emilio Santini. He is not just a fine glass artist, but a really nice guy to boot. All of the students were helpful and shared techniques. So far, it has been the best experience that I have had in seven years as a glass artist. Thanks Emilio and thanks to Corning for the opportinity!

Long time Julie...
Probably won´t even remember,..but its worth a try, see if this takes you back...
Panic Tour..2000-2003 or so. Lived in Boone..You and Bruce were together at the time,..and were the main two reasons i got into glass. People called me little B,..i know that is pretty vague, but i also came to both of your guys´ house for a day to give you some reticulated rutile(a mineral) that was fully able to be encased in glass, and in return, i got a turtle with a chunk in it!! Anyway, if you don´t remember...oh well. Its great to see your face again. Been out in N Cali(arcata)for about 2 and a half years now learnin alot from the best in the west!
Currently down in S.America for 3 months and cant wait to get back behind my torch!
Checked out my buddy Cameron´s site here and saw that you and his brother Kenneth(Buck) took Emilio´s class together!!I´m jealous!! Knew both of them really well from the Boone area! Anyway, great to see your pursuing your interests in glass!!
Take care and thanks for the early inspiration while i was just getting into the scene!!
Peace
Justin B..or Lil'B
