Memories

This stopper is about two years old. I made it in early 2004. It was a huge turning point for me. When I finished it I had never seen anything like it and I was super excited. It set me off in a whole new direction. I just got my first computer in December on 2005 so I was limited in the work that I had seen from others. Didn't even know what glass artists.org was. Maybe that was a good thing. I really don't know. But it keep me sheltered from all the other work out there and focus on my own work. It's was a trade off. Developing my own ideas vs. not seening or being part of the progression the rest of the glass world. i guess I wish I had been more involved earlier on but I can't regret cause thats the way it went down. For a reason I am sure.
