~Don't Put All Your Eggs in One Nest~

This is a piece that i collaborated whith my friend Ryan McLoughlin on located in East falls PA.we asked to part of a nature based show.Everything in the gallery was either made with plant material or made to represent nature. I was asked to make nests and eggs .So we decided to take trees and cut them in half and do an installation with wood and glass . The effect was realistic and very fragile with full of life.

the nest were made by taking chocolate glassand stretching down to stringers and then sluping them in a mold in the kiln.The eggs are just flameworked and just placed loose in the nest. Thanks for lookin NATE
