The ever popular lentil shape in a set especially made for a friend. Happy Birthday Anita!
Lentils of ivory rolled in Bordeaux frit (I think it has a little EDP in there).

This bead started out as a zebra back (see the wild things gallery) and just went a little overboard. It came out nice though. The black lines are as thin as baby fine hair!
The same week I made the bead I got the curved tubes, and they just seemed like a match.

These originally have started to give to a coworker having a hard time with a friend in the hospital. I also have plans for a rosary. There will sure be more of these "pocket crosses".

The beads are then strung with crystal clear Swarovskis and sterling silver.

Brown/Gold/Black frit on khaki, pressed into lentils, khaki spacers to match. Same frit as Calico. Gold is reduced and shines like pure gold. Reminds me of granite countertops.

I made some new ones in my favorite ivory and intense black. This time they are really big and round. I even made some jewelry from some of them. I added rainbow obsidian, seed beads, and sterling silver for a nice necklace.

My mom opened a sewing/quilting store about a month ago in the small town of Ceredo, WV. She asked that I make some jewelry to sell on consignment there. So, here they are before they go out in the mail next week.

This new glass from Double Helix is wonderful! This hand shaped bicone is a base of ivory, with silver foil and Kronos added.
Kronos starts out as a deep cobalt blue, but can reveal streaks of blue-green when heated.
I'm trying something new with the photos too. Showing some mirrored shots, and some on white base with levels corrected. I can't wait to get a new camera, with better macro!
I always appreciate feedback!

This took me a little while to figure out, including some debate between cross and crucifix. I had a lot of input from my friends at WC. In the end, I really like it.
