This unique experimental series started a few years back conceptually, in the beginning days of KBglassworks.. We were set up at a local craft show in Edgewood, New Mexico.The woman next to us told us of her father who happened to be the retired head scientist/lampworker from Los Alamos National Laboratories. . No longer using his torch, his daughter offered some of the old tools, glass, and color from her fathers old shop.Most of the random finds we came upon consisted of scratched clear,colored boro from the 50's/60's,random tools and a small envelope that has lead me to this extremely rare and limited Area 51 mystery series.The old weathered envelope was addressed to the head scientist from McDonald Douglas Astronautics department. Inside the envelope was a small 1" X 2" metallic like sheet of mystery foil.After talking to Henry from Glass Alchemy we are speculating that it is a platinum sheet, but i like to believe that it is a piece of foil like rememinance from the crash site a
