Title: Feather Duster Size: 1 and 8/10th of an inch Signed J McGhee 06’
This stunning feather duster marble was name by Glass Chef. The inside of this marble is a fumed white feather duster attached to a stunning frit rock. The inside walls are fumed with gold to give a dramatic under water cave look. Lots of orange, yellows and greens in this marble. The outside pattern is based with blue and fumed with gold and silver. Square dot patterning was used to create the backing. This marble was an experiment I had a tuff time naming this marble. So I let my follow marble makers and collectors throw names out for two weeks. Then I picked the best. Glass chef was the winner with, The Feather Duster. This marble is being auctioned off for Matt and Misha a good friend that is going to go through a major surgery. So please bid with ur hearts thanks Jason McGhee

Art deco MarblesOrbiting Art deco style #1 Size 1 1/10th of an inch By J McGhee
Not to flashy, not to plain. Just the right mixture of art deco. This stunning globe is full of orbiting dots, triple layers of dots and fuming create this wonderful piece. One side is a grape base dot coated in clear. The second dot is a grape base fumed with gold. Then a rough Gibson opal is crowning the center.
Separating the other side is an equator of double dot grape and og moss.
This other side is a cool blue and a copper orange layered in clear dots. Then a rough Gibson opal is crowning the center.
Meny more of these to come, super fun to make.

Supercooled Liquid, Glass Art By J McGhee
First off let me tell u a little about me.....
I'm Jason McGhee 28yrs old.I live in Washington state. so I am always surrounded by the beauty Of nature and wonder. I love to incorporate these influences in to my art.
My first introduction to glass was at Disney world. Then I watched a lamp worker make all these wonderful things. Some years later, I met Jay Nazelrod my soon to be mentor. After 3 months of watching intensely. I asked him if he would teach me how to blow glass. He said buy a torch to show dedication and so I did. I studied under jay for 2 yrs. Then I moved back to Vancouver and practiced my skills over and over again and again. another great influence in my glass life has been Matt & Misha of Eugene Rain, they push me beyond the limits. Ever since I’ve been hooked.
I have had the pleasure to work with Matt & Misha Geisler, John Kabuki, Nate Miers, Bob Snodgrass, Freindly Kat Glass,Sabine Boehn, and several others.
I love the quest of this never ending journey. Glass is very amazing, it can be shaped in to countless shapes. Colored, textured, for modern, contemporary, antiques looks.
My main influences are natural organic feels, natural wonders of the world. And modern contemporary organics. My mood also affects the style and colors of my work.
I stared this journey early 2002 and just don’t see an end too it. Hope you like my art as much as I love making it . Jason McGhee
