Momentum, Devotion, Creation......... Christopher Roesinger is a thriving artist whose lucid creations in glass can most often be found adorning the highly complimented. Chris now lives in Skaneateles, New York, a majestic area in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. Here he draws from the surrounding natural beauty and serenity, allowing him to expand his repertoire of artistic skills. He continues to develop his line of jewelry, creating an ever-expanding array of designs which bring a sense of individuality and beauty to the wearer. Most recently Chris has begun teaching his techniques and ideas at the Carlisle School of glass art, Revere Glass, Lapidary Journal, and thru private workshops. Looking further down the road, he plans to continue to diversify his artistic interests, moving into more complex utilitarian design, as well as decorative and artistic works. Thank you for taking the time to review my gallery of work. I will constantly be adding and updating so plea

This summer I was hired to demonstrate marble making at the Virginia Highlands Festival. So, I spent about two months heavily focused on a variety of marble designs. Here are some of my favorite reversals from the endeavor.
In addition, I will be teaching at Carlisle School of Glass Feb. 9 -10 and Feb. 11 - 12, 2007. The first two day class will cover focal pendants. The second class will be marbles and some sculpture. Visit Carlisle's website for registration and further details. I will also be teaching a 5 day intensive workshop at the Revere Glass School in Berkeley, Ca. March 19 - 23, 2007. This class will begin with focal pendants and jewelry design, transition to marbles, and end with sculptural designs. The intention is to piggy back techniques in order to drive home the main points and to expand one's repetoire of skills. Visit Dustin Revere's website for further details.

I always appreciate the wonderful opportunity it is to share in this community with so many talented indiviuals. And more so to develop friendships that go beyond the studio. This collaboration was created for my own personal adornment and admiration. It's a keeper. Thanks Kyle for putting forth your stellar efforts. I feel lucky to be able to be part of completing the works. I look forward to all our future endeavors.

Compilation piece between Doug Conner and myself. Doug created the shell which measures apporximately 8 inches in length and 4 inches in diameter then tapered. I added the coral scene and performed the assemblage. Thewhole pice stands about ten - eleven inches in height. Hope you enjoy, it was a pleasure to work with Doug. He's a good friend and my previous roomate. I'd just like to formally thank him for his hard work and excellent job.

Recently, I was honored that my friend and amazing lampworker Kyle Camyre asked that I make focals for his necklaces. He's a third generation glass artist and makes wonderful moretti beads with great precision and detail. This year at Lapidary Journal's Bead Feat he asked me to make a reticello for this neckalce. During one of my demonstations, I humbly went for it. I used Black Violet and Snow White for this pendant. I'd like to thank Kyle for the opportunity to complete his piece.

Here is a new collection of Seahorse Pendants that I created for Bead Unique Magazine. They will be featured in the readers gallery in an upcoming issue. All are fumed in a variety of tones using GA Black Violet as a backing. I was really pleased with this group. Hope you enjoy. I'd like to give special thanks to my studio assistant Collin Russell for all the hard work.

I will be offering a class at Carlisle on April 14-15 2006. The class is called "Progressive Borosilicate Lampworking" - an intermediate approach to jewelry and objects. It should be on their site next week and in the new schedule which is being sent out this weekend. If your attending Salem Conference they will have the info at the booth. The course is two days and around $400. I will cover a variety of pendant and marble designs, a vessel and a sculptural design. Also I will be discussing some marketing techniques and how one can begin developing their own product portfolio. Plan on making it a fun experience, look forward to seeing you. www.carlisleschoolofglass.com

Hey Chris
I was look at some comments of mine and saw one from you I missed. You offered some sound board disco biscuits. Nice, I appreciate that. I would love to hear it some time. I saw your work up at Dustin. A almost finished pendant that was really nice. I wanted to stop up there and introduce myself but wasn't able to do so. Maybe next time. I dont live to far from Dustins. Peace
