Big glass for a big beer. Some experimental photography of me at work. These obviously did not turn out as good as hoped for.

copper encrusted meteor

This paperweight looks and feels like it fell from space. Frits and powders were used to create the many layers of yellow, blue, red , and organic tan. The piece was coldworked to reveal the blooming space lotus on the inside. The lotus style implosion holds a large white pear shaped gilson opal in the center. The outside has been coldworked to a smooth finish and then electroformed with copper. The heavily textured copper ranges in color from metallic red to a shimmering blue. This piece measures 2.25"
