Thanks! The arms on this piece were put on in the end, and the "mouth" was only a small hole.. The fingers were placed inside the hole of the "mouth" and I used the heat from the glory hole, and gravity to literally open its "mouth". This piece was made to show how the glass can (in a literal sense) manipulate itself.
