Texture and colour are the driving force in my current work. I am also interested in the "Fantastique" which was popularised by such great masters such as Lalique . Combining organic abstract forms with highly realistic wildlife allows the work to celebrate the magic and mystery within the material and provides natures creatures another level in which to exist. Working as a professional sculptor since 1975 has allowed me to explore and develop skills in most materials and also many exotic processes, yet it now all seems like serving a long apprenticeship for my current work in glass.
