Hawaiian Haku lei wreath stained glass suncatcher

Hawaiian Haku lei wreath stained glass suncatcher

Here in Hawaii, Haku leis are traditional headwear worn by hula dancers. They come in all different colors in a variety of flowers and foliage. This one is a wreath of wispy greens and yellows with two plumeria flowers, to hang in your window. It measures approximately 15"x15" and comes with a chain attached for hanging.

Honu: Hawaiian Sea Turtle

Honu: Hawaiian Sea Turtle

Turtle used to be a delicacy here until they were put on the endangered species list. Now you can get a hefty fine and jail time.
This panel is 20" round. I used pale blue nuggets as bubbles.

This one-of-a-kind window panel depicts Ku, the hawaiian warrior God, made with light and dark ambers and red nuggets for eyes. Surrounded by a medley of green tropical foliage and a bamboo design border, this panel definitely gives the feeling of ancient Hawaii.
