This lizard appears to be changing color to match the vase he is climbing up. I enjoy trying to capture the natural world in glass more than anything else. The goal is to convey a message through the body language of an animal. Once I can do that, I think I will have found my way to expressing my own feelings in what I make.
Thank you for looking.

Thank you for looking at my creations. The majority of what I sculpt is inspired by nature. The rest is inspired by my imagination, fueled with emotion.

Great realism!
Super subject matter - that should sell real quick if it were for sale - wonderful stance and color coordination.
Speaking of natural inspiration, do a web search on Nudibranchs, they are, IMO if not actual fact, the most visually diverse creatures in all creation. They are sea slugs, and would adapt themselves perfectly to colorful glass sculptures - I am currently making a simulated coral reef and making Nudibranchs out of sculpey clay. - JB
