This paperweight features a spiral blue dichroic vortex with a floating black gilson opal. The coldworked front reveals layers of organic tans and a vibrant whispy blue. A pattern of arrows has been electroformed on the outside, giving this geode a midieval feel. The copper has an aged patina makinig it look like an ancient relic... piece measures 2"

i use an ott light..a curved white backgroung, and white foamboard for sides. (using the spot meter is the key, and a tripod with a couple seconds on self timer.) the setup is temporary but has been working good...thanks

I really like the electroforming on this piece, the texture is great around the lip... rounds it out nicely i guess you could say.

Hmmm....
walking that fine line between pusing the envelope and tearing the envelope, ripping it into little pieces, then shredding it. Actually...you might have set the envelope on fire with this one. Your talents never cease to amaze me brother.
