This is a technique I thought up and tryed a few times. The top is not bitwork, but sguareish tube cut, heated and picked up off a plate. I guess it is hollow murrhini.Then incombo'ed with the bottom blow piece. Please leave a comment if you have seen something like this or know of anyone doing it.

ive seen goblets on this forum done that have open weave rather than solid walls. im not sure how they did it, it looks like it was done with rod though, not sure.
