This is my favorite one yet.. The most recent in the series of collaborative work between myself and Troy Bennett. This coldworked paperweight features a heavily textured rock like solid with a natural looking cut crystal face. The hand faceted front opens up layers of powdered
glass, and reveals a multiple layer gold fumed and cobalt implosion. In the center of the piece is a large irridescent white gilson opal floating right above the implosion. The organic looking facet cuts through the texture, revealing circular patterns around the perimiter of the face. This piece measures 2.42" x 3.1"
