As a graduating student from the Cleveland Institute of Art I am currently exploring glass through a simple fusing process that I have been experimenting with, as well as finding ways to include it within my large installations. The work I am currently creating for my BFA show in May, deals with finding new ways to create communication and interaction amongst Clevelanders, by focusing on three areas where I feel communication lacks right now.

For the last three years I have been exploring the combination of fusing sheet glass with a copper enamel and copper. Through many experiments I have been able create a shimmered effect or cracked effect due to the incompatabilities of the three materials. As I am continuing to try different ways to express my conceptual thought, I have been able to screen different imageries onto the surface of the glass.
