This series I utilize a clear window in a reversal to expose a 2nd layer of patterns under it, such as a honeycomb, a sheet of dichro, or a dichro galaxy swirl.

...Red Crayon, Elvis and Cognac WigWag window...

...CBS Rainbow Galaxy swirl...

...I wish I could keep every one of these so far...

...side view. The stick-stack tubing is what gives the window it's 3-D look...
|
...Overlapping dots of Alternating Elvis and American Beauty...
|
|
...there is also a Black Trillion Opal in the center of the backing...

...which I bought confidently from Vapor Glass...

...I wish all my opal pictures looked this nice...because the opals do!

...roots...
I did post this series before JP posted his beautiful hollow work with the same windowing concept, and I also had a few of these at AGI in august, but I make no claims to inventing 'this' technique/concept. Big thanks to Micah Evans, an old shopmate and great friend. He and I sat around for hours conceptulizing this technique after being inspired by a Bearclaw gallery last spring. Look what it evolved into Micah!
