A glass flower where every pedal is twisted and the biggest petals are all different colors including jupiter sparkle, neptune sparkle, turquoise, cobalt 5, alchemy mint, unobtanium and a pedal of some mixed colors. the rest is red crayon and elvis...just a weird idea i had and i went with it

so this is my first switchback capped jar, it's capped on a wrap n' raked silver and gold fumed back. came out really nice

I randomly thought of the idea for these pendants, kept it in mind, and tried it out right when i got to the torch. I'm still working on kickin it up a few notches more awesome. I wonder how many pinwheels there are on it...

What's happenin my name is Jim Righter i've been blowin for about 2 years veerryyy on and off in Durango, CO. I have just moved down to Salem, NJ to take the scientific and artistic glassblowing courses and havin a great time doin it. I'm also involved in the Glass Arts Association and working on some pieces to display and sell at our auctions. I'm working on getting more time on the torch so hopefully i can get alot more work posted up on here. For now, take it easy and feel free to leave any comments, questions, rants, and so on. Peace

Hey Man , Thanks for the comment . Ya we do have allot going on now days "whew" and it's been in 90's too here in NC., so work is "hot" to say the least ... Sorry to hear about your father ! It's sad to say but we got to go sometyme , I lost my mother a year ago in Oct.( long battle w/ cancer and she stayed w/ me the last six (6) yrs too . About the coment on the guys implosins ( ya they looked bad ) but If I remember right ,I was going to trash some marb's that I did once and you said not to .That comment did hepl too... Peace and keep on 'smiling' Joe
