A colaboration between artists is a win-win situation because it pushes both artists to compromise on decisions, something we are not use to doing. When it works well, the piece reflects something that is out of the normal boundries of what either artist could or would have achieved on their own.

Here is a boro geode that Andrew Brown and I worked together on during AGI 2005. I made the center marble of this piece, a window series dichro backed wigwag, and Andrew then took it and coated it with tons of layers of GA's Amazon Series Frit. After it was annealed, Andrew applied some of his coldworking skills and ground the face and bottom smooth. I recently bought a LED light base for the bottom and it's a stunning effect from glass as bright colored light shine through the dichro and out the front of the piece. Pics can do no justice to the light show.

Colaboration between Nathan Miers and Adam G for the Hurricane Katrina Relief Auction. This was made at AGI 05. The story is we were going to make a 'push mower' originally, but the pogo stick was much more nastalgic to our childhoods. Adam added the planet in the back because he's spacey, and the marble was born. Signed by both artists and dated 2008. Somehow this marble has made it back from the future.

This is a collaboration marble that Lee Zeigler, Kris Hale and I did a couple of months ago. Lee did the surface discs, Kris did a dichro galaxy and I did the galaxy with opal and the finishing.

Lee Zeigler, Kris Hale, Christian Luginger, and myself created this monster after the Eugene FlameOff a few weeks ago, before Christians' flight home to Texas. Neither Kris or Christian have even seen it yet, and in fact, it was in a sad state of hurt when they left. I saved her guys! Hope you like it!

Marbleslinger, Chris Carlson and I came together for a two or three days to make a series of tribute marbles to a few of our favorite glass artists using the Graal technique. Robert Mickelsen, Josh Sable, and Gateson Recko were the 'victims'. Captions say the rest. Thanks for looking!
