2005 - 11 "Opal Eye Geode"

Posted by Andrew Brown on 11/30/2005
This geode paperweight features a pear shaped white gilson opal in the center. The outer ring of petals has trapped air bubbles under each one. There is also a layer of blue/green dichro behind the flower. The outside has a rough texture that has been heavily fumed giving it a strange metallic look.. The piece measures 3" x 1.6"
