Here are just a couple sculplures of some things that I see around my house everyday. It was inevitable that I would eventualy give in to the urge to capture them in glass....these are my first two of what will be a recurring theme.
This lizard appears to be changing color to match the vase he is climbing up. I enjoy trying to capture the natural world in glass more than anything else. The goal is to convey a message through the body language of an animal. Once I can do that, I think I will have found my way to expressing my own feelings in what I make.
These guys look like they were skirting up the wall and stopped when they saw someone coming. They hang on the wall simply with a pendant loop and some bendable wire.
Thanks for looking at my creations, inquiries welcome.

Thank you for looking at my creations. The majority of what I sculpt is inspired by nature. The rest is inspired by my imagination, fueled with emotion.
"using emotion to create a wide variety of funcional and non-functional glass artwork."
NICE!!
Looking good Rusty! Those are some really nice sculpures, I see you pay attenetion to the local wildlife.
