(Glass Marbles)

Dark star crashes...... In a galaxy way far way out there...
New planets are born out of the cosmic space dust of my mind.
Recently very inspired by another marble I set out to do my own spin on a space scene.
This is the first of many other space explorations that I will be doing for sure.
Definitely one of the most difficult to photograph if not the most.
I spent a lot of time really trying to capture all that is going on inside this one.
Hope you enjoy!

In the spring of 1999 after spending years of searching for a way to express his creative side Stephan came across an immediate love for lamp working shortly after relocating to Eugene, Or.
He then began his journey into the discovery of glass in its liquid state.

Wow!
That's one of the neatest space marbles that I have ever seen. I really like the planets, nebulas and stars. I feel like I am looking through a telescope!

Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words and encouragement.
Yes it was a Gateson marble that inspired me to try to make a space marble.

Fantastic work!
OMG! I love these! Especially the one that looks like it has Jupiter in it. A tiny little universe in the palm of your hand.
