These pieces are sectional meaning the pieces are removable, the joints are all sandblasted for a tight fit.

this is one of my all time favorites. There is a shape that repeates over and over again in this piece that comes up a lot in my work, see if you can find it!

This was the last sectional vessel I made. It is a stoppered bottle with stand, I had cracking issues with the base and even though it was one of the most succesful visually, it was an enginering problem.
A good friend fell in love with it and convinced me to let him add it to his collection, even with a flaw or too. I am glad he has it but not so glad it fell apart! If your out there Greg, as soon as I get a kiln big enough I will fix it, I promise! Be patient, after its fixed it better last the rest of your life cuz one fix is all you get.......even if it takes a couple of years.

This is a three section piece, stopper, vessel, stand. It really took some fine tuning to get this thing standing level...a little more history on this piece..I made this in 2001, when I had been blowing glass for just about two years, these two sectional vessel pieces, the fairy and the coiling spear are the two pieces that made me believe in myself as an artist. There is nothing conceptually significant about the fairy, but I did a lot of designing and tinkering and it didn't end up in a pile on the floor! SUCCESS!!!
