glass was started in Spokane Washington in 1997. After Chris finished a six month garage apprenticeship he started building his glass eduation by studying with such greats as: Bob Snodgrass in Spingfield, Brian Kerkvliet at inspiration farm, Don Niblack at the Pratt Art Institue in Seattle, Robert Mickelsen at his studio in Florida, Steve Sizelove at Lucid Visions in Jax Beach and played on the torch with Ray Olsen in Amsterdam.
Chris has also been a member of the
glass art Society for the last 7 years and has attended several of the annual conferences.
His work is astonishing in his attention to detail and balance. Chris strives to learn new techniques and is also constantly experimenting to reach new achievements. As well as staying in touch with the basics and pushing the limits of his skills.
