I am not exactly a 'glass artist' but over the years I have developed a style of painting on glass. I actually have a little experience on a torch b/c Melanie Cansler was nice enough to give me some lessons about two years ago, but I haven't worked on a torch since. I grew up writing graffiti which was my pathway to the art world. Now I'm no longer involved with illegal graffiti but I still enjoy painting on all kinds of surfaces. The work I am most proud of are my paintings on glass. I use old windows that Ill find in random places and paint on the back of the glass in reverse order. I attempt to layer the paint so that the finished piece has an illusion of depth. I use acrylic, spray paint and paintmarkers and the older the window the better.
