Studio Shots

This is our studio, it's a 12 x 16. It was just a plain storage building until Joe worked his magic and transformed it into a studio that we can be proud of. Hoods were constructed by Pattishall's Industrial Contracting in Sanford, NC. Under each hood is an 10 inch pipe connected to a 1620 CFM attic fan. The bathroom fans ( 70 cfm ) are just for added ventilation.
Paragon Kiln 120
Joe is looking forward to getting the grandaddy of all kilns. The 240!

We,ve been working with glass for 5 years now.
We sat down at our first torch at Flame Kissed Beads with instructor Kaleigh Hessel and were hooked. Next we took one with boro with intructors Frank and TJ at Mid-Atlantic Glass, also just got back from a class with Chris and Jackie Rice, which was awesome, well worth the trip and the class fee. A"BIG" ups to Bird & REN for helping us out in the begining, Thank you ! ! !

nice looking shop
pretty sweet two person set up you got there, ventilation looks better than alot of setups I have seen, hoods are always good. It's amazing what a little elbow grease can do to an old storage shed! I use the same kiln, love it, really easy to program. I too began my flameworking journey in a shed, but four years of on and off re-modeling have transformed it into a studio I can be proud of, isn't glass just great!
