Sunsets in the south are something everyone needs to see once. This piece stand 27 inches tall, made of borosilicate glass blown, sculpted, sandblasted and oil painted.

this was actually taller than my kiln when I finished it, I had to lay it in at an ange just to anneal it.

the insert is actually glued, normally I like to make pieces removable but this time I wanted a specific look I could only achieve by glueing.

MTK- I attached the insert cold, normally i like to make the inserts fit snug so they are removable like in the cage series but i did seal this one on. thanks again for all the kind words.
