Coming togeter to share creativity, stories and a love of
glass are what collaberations are all about. It was great to have our studio host an event with so many freash minds and ideas in glass. We set out to make a wall mounted glass fountain that would express organics and functionality, (thanks to a bit of electrical tape.) Hollow cut, sandblasted leaves directed the water through rooted structures, flowers and frit slump marbles into a basin. The basin was filled full color vases and ornamental vessels patterned with red exotic powder. The fountain lasted less than 48 hours due to a light falling off the ceiling, destroying 70% of the fountain. This was a disappointment but the collaberation was about the process and not the final product. Special thanks to Ron @
art glass House for his glass donation. Thank you to all that attended Lance, Micah, Josh, Amanda, Nate, Kristian, Rusty, Jim, Jen, Ross, Matt, Derek, Brian, Trevor, Kristian, Kevin, and Mikey
