The play of light and color as my arm moves constantly throughout the day never fails to enchant me. My bracelets are big, bold, and colorful to keep my eye entertained. I love color, and my friends and family tease that I'm much like the crow who likes to collect shiny, sparkly objects. Being able to create my own beads at will will never lose its ability to thrill that crow-like part of me.

I am lucky enough to live in Atlanta, Georgia where the Atlanta Botanical Gardens hosted Chihuly in the Garden last year - 2004. I have long admired Chihuly for his unique use of color, texture, and form. Seeing his work in person was beyond my ability to adequately describe. I certainly can't even hope to capture the radiant beauty of the glass with a mere camera, but I've taken as many photos as possible to remind myself of what his genius made me feel. If you've never seen his work in person...seek it out. It's an experience beyond compare.

Lampworking has become a true passion in recent months, and has given my creativity all new avenues to explore. I've been creating jewelry, mostly by commission, for more than 15 years now, but have had to rely on the genius of others to supply my favorite medium...glass. All the hours spent admiring that genius has driven me to the torch to fulfill my fondest dream...to make my living with the jewelry and glass I love so much. I welcome comments and constructive criticism.
