One of my recent designs was chosen as Design of the Month for glassEye2000, can be seen at the website: www.dfly.com
I also had a Design of the Month in April 2006.
I use recyled windows and glass for my canvases, and love to experiment by taking photos and turning them into my own unique designs. I also utilize 8x10 panels and my husband created wooden box lamps for the panels--unique in that panels are removable for various scenes/seasonal paintings.
I have branched out a bit more this year, and have made my first suncatcher/wind chime utilizing plexi and copper pipe, photos of these will be posted when they are complete. (will be VERY busy the next few weeks!)
I currently have pieces showing at Valdese Heritage Arts Coop in Valdese, Moose Crossing in Elk Park, Blake House Inn B&B in Arden, NC. I am currently working on some commissioned pieces, and designs inspired from photographs.
I will be showing the new pieces at the Lake Lure NC Memorial Day show (all 3 days that weekend, Sat,Sun,Mon).
