Native to Southern California, self-taught artist, Vickie Silcox, for the last 20 years has practiced her elaborate and abstract style in the form of drawing. Beginning in 2002, her unique and sophisticated renderings made their way onto
glassware, with heavy influences of Persian and Moroccan design and color.
Now residing in the Antelope Valley, she is among a new wave of artists that reside there, introducing this popular style of the LA basin to different regions across Southern California. Vickie Silcox hopes her artistic expressions will create a warm and unique environment in your home, which will be a fine location for A Painted Setting.
