...At least in my mind I see hints of spring underneath the frozen grass, and flowers, too...

...I love taking pictures out of a plane window...looking onto a miniature world, where everything is reduced to plain shapes, lines and dots...
(6 images)
|

...This tree is a bit ahead of time, since I gave it some green leaves, while the fileds are bare and far away from being green...
(6 images)
|

...One of my favourite plants...although I donīt have any anymore, because my cats decided itīs their favourite plant, too...
(6 images)
|

...and ancient flower captured in amber;-)...
(6 images)
|

...A picture of amber floating in shallow water after a storm, mixed with algae and driftwood...and the air is smelling like seaweed...
(6 images)
|

This bead, with its rough surface and odd shape, kind of reminds me of an ancient amphora brought to the surface and still tangled in algae...
(6 images)

...an angel lost his wing...I found it and encased it;-)...

...A similar design to a set I listed a couple of days ago...but I loved it so much, therefore had to make another one... a focal this time...
(6 images)
|

..playing with contrasts again...the reflection of a glowing red sunset on ice makes it look like being on fire...without melting it...
(6 images)
|

...some aster flowers for fall...
(6 images)
|

...a painterly vision of fall...
(6 images)
|

Iīm seriously drawn to greens these days...probably because theyīre vanishing bit by bit...but fall is having a finale... still lots of flowers out there...
(6 images)
|

...trying to capture all the fine lines in colored autumn leaves...
(6 images)
|

...colors are changing...
(6 images)

...illuminating the world in glowing colors...

Playing with Doublehelix Psyche, I thought these lentils look like balloon fish...so I gave them eyes ...and tails...
(6 images)

...glowing sunset, but the atmosphere is indicating a storm...

Recently I love exploring different kinds of surfaces, using enamels and metals..which offers a wide field of possibilities...and lots of fun;-)...

|

...full of berries and the leaves are gone...
(6 images)
|

...Some days ago I noticed, that the ground around the small trees in my street looks dark red...It is covered in berries, blown off by a storm and spread around their trunks in a circle...
(6 images)

Iīve done a lot of florals and all kind of spring beads recently...hope that spring comes soon...

Another aproach to trees..in a sculptural way...inspired by bonsai trees and some Japanes ink drawings I saw recently...

...Ok, before somebody else says it, Iīm going to say it myself: yes, this bead definitely looks a little bit pregnant;-)...but itīs just a huge bubble of clear with some flowers in it...

...Some butterflies are still hiding, dreaming of meadows full of flowers...but their wings are sticking out...

Bead sets inspired by my recent stay on the Kapverdian Islands.
(12 images)
|

...but not a common kind;-)...mine has blue leaves and pretty blossoms...
(6 images)
|

...Not exactly the color palette one expects in fall...so it might be a preview for spring... the name of this bead is the latin name of a spring flower...
(6 images)
|

...one can dream...
(6 images)
|

...well, I used Vetrofond Salmon pink;-)...but with some...a lot of...imagination you might see salmons jumping up a waterfall...

Probably I picked the wrong season for this bead...;-)

Going out onto the ocean in a little boat, and after a while turning around and looking back ...this is what you might see...a coastline...far far away...

Colorful corals in diffuse underwater light....
(7 images, 1 comment)
|

...Itīs been a while since I made corals, I almost forgot how much fun it is to play with whimsical shapes like that... Taking pictures of this color combo, on the other hand...;-)...well, I tried...
(6 images)
|

...wheat, cornflowers, chamomile and poppies...
(6 images)
|

...Too early in the year for cornflowers? I have a picture in my mind of cornflowers sitting in their seeds dug deep into the earth, and waiting for some sun...
(6 images)
|

I love making freeformed beads...critters and everything that is ever possible to "squeeze" into a bead...

...This is kind of the shadow of a jellyfish...When I saw my first stinging jellyfish as a kid, I had no idea what it was, but in its beauty it looked like a creature from a fairytale. My next encounter wasnīt that pleasant...lol...
(6 images)
|

...Snowdrops are already blooming...hopefully daffodils will be next...
(6 images)
|

...Theyīre blooming everywhere...while it is still too cold outside...Iīve spread them all over my home...all the window sills are filled with daffodils...
(6 images)

Spring is about to come...some are blooming already.....
(6 images)

(6 images)
|

...with water reflecting on the sand...

Colors are changing...natureīs getting ready for fall...
(6 images)
|

All the gardens are full of colors now, red, yellow, orange...and painted leaves mixed in...at least where the gardeners arenīt hunting for every single leave that falls down...
(6 images)
|

Yellow leaves drizzling down like golden rain, leaving the branches blank...
(6 images)
|

...While making this bead, a little piece of silver foil got into my way, so i simply grabbed it and stuck it onto the bead...melt it in, and forgot about it. After etching, I discovered 2 tiny sparkling dots...that is what is left of the silver, but it looks like a little fen fire...
(6 images)
|

This set displays polarities...between fire and ice...hot and cold, summer and winter...and fall is somewhere in between...
(6 images)
|

...The first flower of this year...a bit too early, but everything is possible in glass...
(6 images)
|

...I wasnīt thinking of the state "Florida" while making this bead, but of the expression of its name: "flowering, blooming"... It snowed again this morning...therefore Iīm making flower beads to create some balance...

All those brave little flowers already sticking their heads out might well find themselves covered in ice in the morning...
(6 images)
|

...The trees have almost lost their leaves, empty twigs in frozen air and misty clouds lingering...
(6 images)
|

...Itīs been ages that I actally made some round beads...so I just had to sit down and make some...
(6 images)
|

...Fields are frozen, but still having colors. The tiny lines in the pictures are, by the way, no fingerprints;-), but twisties of Aion applied onto the surface, lingering like lines of mist...
(6 images)
|

...itīs getting colder...
(6 images)
|

...Early in the morning the trees are frozen and covered in glaze frost, the light seems to be blueish and the mist over the fields painted pink...too bad it turns into cold and damp a bit later...
(6 images)

I didnīt really trust this geckos climbing talent...so I gave him a bead to safely climb on;-)...

Another spring focal...
(6 images)
|

...some green to make summer stay a bit...
(6 images)
|

...They said it might snow over the next days...therefore this tree has a lot of green leaves...to create some balance...
(6 images)
|

...Hawaiiīs volcanoes have been a great inspiration for me recently, even if Iīve never been there and am just looking at pictures...
(6 images)
|

...Itīs pretty chilly and unpleasant outside...therefore there are for sure places Iīd rather be;-)... Hawaii...ocean and volcanoes, and hot lava flowing into the water...of course some flowers...well, one can dream...
