Inspired by this painting "Jour der fete" or "Celebration Day" done by the French painter Moga. He is strongly influenced by the vibrant colours and patterns of Africa. This is the first in my Moga series.

What a gorgeous colour is Ink Blue! It can be deep and mysterious or light and dreamy, but somehow always comforting (I know, I should probably get out of the studio more often!).
