Exploding Planet #3

A planet explodes spewing rocks and debris into space. The rocks themselves are planet sized, some comparable to the size of Earth. The smaller debris is gathering quickly to form an asteroid field. A few large planets can be seen in the distance through the dust and debris.

The back of this marble is accented with mini reversals, style known as “rams head” reversals, and a sig chip reading M&M. My camera won’t pick up the detail of these very well, they are spectacular in person. The outer rim is surrounded by squares and rectangles, which are challenging in glass, it likes to be round. The square belt is covered in a thin layer of our Phantom glass, which is made exclusively by our studio. It makes the glass sparkle and gleam.
