I've been having fun making these and it is a good change from constantly making jewelry. This is the third marble stand I've done but the second with Nick Elledge. Implosion Cab Bracelet

Implosion Cab Bracelet

This is what happens when I have to much fun with something. Chris Roesinger blew the implosion cab and I decided to make a bracelet instead of a pendant. I accented the cab with 4 dark blue sapphires. The centerpiece took me about 5 hours. The centerpiece is conformed to your wrist. This makes an extremely comfortable bracelet that you can hardly tell is on. I also made the chain band. I formed every link and put them together. There are approximately 600 links in the band. This takes about 10 hours. There is about 3 ounces of sterling silver in the entire bracelet. I like making bracelets more than anything else. I can size bracelets to a person's wrist with a simple measurement.

I decided to add large gemstones to these two cabs. The colors and shapes went perfectly together. I was afraid they would get too large but I think the sizes are perfect. Gold and Silver Glass Cab Necklace

Glass cab by Chris Roesinger and metalwork by Jason Burruss. This is the first cab medallion that I used gold and added a chain. I made all the links in the chain and put them all together. The gold accents go good with dark cabs. Check out my website at www.jandkdesigns.net. I also do custom orders for other glass-blowers.

Glass Vortex Marble with Silver and Gold Marble Stand

This sculpture is a collaboration of a large borosilicate glass marble by Chris Roesinger and a gold and silver marble stand by Jason Burruss. This can be purchased at www.jandkdesigns.net. This marble has a magnified front with a fumed vortex in the background. The backside has solid color work also. The stand allows the marble to be displayed. The marble is securely set in four prongs and the marble can be rotated in place but not removed. This allows the owner to angle the marble in the stand however they prefer.
