2005 - 05 "Uranium Opal Geode"

This oval shaped geode features a fumed uranium honeycomb, with a brilliant white opal in the center. The curved window reveals layers of blues, ambers, and yellows. Behind the honeycomb is a layer of green gold, and red dichroic glass. The outside has a natural texture, that has been fumed with gold for a metalic effect. The piece measures 2.9"w x 1.5"h. The blacklight glow is hard to capture in a photograph, still working on that. Thanks for looking...
