2005 - 05 "Starfish"

Posted by Andrew Brown on 5/26/2005
This is a piece I made a few months back.. The base is a solid purple luster and the starfish is made with a combination of silver strike 5, cobalt, purple luster, blue passon and amazon bronze frit. The base has milli anenome clusters, and has been "painted" with a hand torch to give it a lustery sea foam look.. This is a large base of solid color, and was one of the largest and hottest pieces Ive done so far.. The piece measures 7" wide and is 5" tall by 4" deep. Thanks for looking.
