2005 - 05 "#3"

This piece is #3 in a series that Troy Bennett and I are working on..I have to say in a lot of ways this ones my favorite yet.. Troy managed to pack a bunch of gold fumed dots in this one... This coldworked paperweight features a dynamic fumed organic flower on the inside, with a ton of detail and color. The dome shape accents the amazing flower shape inside, and the window cut reveals layers of blues, greens, ambers and reds. The outside has been heavily textured giving this piece a freshly dug up look.. The base has a small window into the bottom giving it an incredible look when held against a light, also a side view of the flower. This larger weight measures in at 3.5" tall and 2.25" wide..
